Perfectly Polished is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for myself and clients. To ensure
we have a safe and healthy workplace, I have developed the following COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in
response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I will be responsible for implementing this plan. The goal is to mitigate
the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in businesses such as mine and communities, and that requires
full cooperation among myself and clients. Only through this cooperative effort can we establish and
maintain the safety and health of all persons in our workplaces. My clients are my important assets. I am
serious about safety and health and keeping myself working at Perfectly Polished.
 

Symptoms:
I will self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 including taking my own temperature daily. If I am
not feeling well I will contact all of my clients for that day. If I feel that I have symptoms related to COVID-19
I will be sure to self-isolate and also contact those clients I have been in contact with if those symptoms
arise. I am asking clients that have been in the salon to inform me, Heidi Bargmann/Perfectly Polished if
they are also having any COVID-19 symptoms, or if they have tested positive for COVID-19 with a
laboratory confirmed test as I will need to trace and track and inform any other clients that have been in the
salon the same day. All client information will be kept confidential when they contact me with this
information, but it is necessary to inform other clients of the situation.
 

Entering the Building:
Only the client will be allowed in Perfectly Polished during the time of the appointment. No other persons
will be allowed. Clients will be asked to wait in their car or outside, clients will receive a text when approved
to enter the building. All clients will be required to wear a mask that covers there nose and mouth as well as
wash their hands with warm soap and water upon entering the salon.
As the owner of Perfectly Polished, I also have the responsibility to wear a mask that covers my nose and
mouth as well as wash hands when entering the salon, using the restroom, after eating and before and after
each client.
 

Sanitizing:
Regular housekeeping practices are already implemented, including routine sanitizing of the workplace and
frequent sanitizing of high-touch areas. Tools used on clients are cleaned, disinfected and sanitized
between uses. Appropriate and effective cleaning and disinfectant supplies have been purchased and are
available for use in accordance with product labels, safety data sheets and manufacturer specifications, and
are being used with required personal protective equipment for the product.
 

Face Mask Requirements:
All Clients will be required to wear a face mask during their service and when entering and exiting the
building. It can be surgical, bandana, cloth of any kind so it covers the nose and mouth during the whole
service at Perfectly Polished. This is a requirement from the Governors Order, The Minnesota Board of
Cosmetology and the City of Minneapolis.
 

Payments:
Payments will be accepted in all forms. Cash, Check and Credit card. The screen for signing will be
sanitized between services as well
This COVID-19 Preparedness Plan was prepared and implemented by Perfectly Polished. And will be
updated as necessary. This COVID-19 Preparedness Plan has been certified by Perfectly Polished and is
posted in the salon June 1, 2020 and will be updated as necessary.
